Cytokine release syndrome is a dreaded complication that can be seen secondary to a variety of aetiologies such as infections, malignancy and rheumatological disorders. With increased understanding of CRS during the COVID-19 pandemic, immunomodulation is now being used in non- rheumatological triggers as well.
