Today(23rd August 2021) The Kachiguda Police Station was inaugurated by Sri. Mohammed Mahmood Ali Hon’ble Minister for Home, TS. Sri.G.Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism Culture and Development of North Eastern Region, Govt. of India has attended the program as Chief Guest. Sri.T.Srinivas Yadav, Hon’ble Minister for Animal Husbandry, Sri.Kaleru Venkatesh, MLA Amberpet, Smt.Surabhi Vani Devi MLC, Sri.Koleti Damodhar Chairman TSPHCL and Dr.M.Mahendar Reddy IPS DGP TS were attended the program as Guest of Honours in presence of Sri.Anjani Kumar IPS Commissioner of Police Hyderabad city. The Newly constructed Kachiguda police station at a cost of Rs 4 crore 50 lakhs.
Later Dr. Mahendar Reddy IPS DGP TS said that ;
The aim of the police is to provide justice and security to every single citizen. CCTV projects are moving forward on the initiative of ministers and local MLAs. The CCTV cameras in Hyderabad prevent many crimes.
The Police command control center is like the heartbeat of the police system, is ideal for the country, and will soon be launched in the Banjara Hills.
Sri. Mohammed Mahmood Ali Hon’ble Minister for Home, TS. said that ; The Kachiguda Police Station is a very important police station in this area. Most travelers use it regularly. The police system in Telangana has been strengthened. Telangana police have a good reputation across the country. We will open new buildings for more police stations in the future. The number of crimes has dropped dramatically.
Sri.G.Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism Culture and Development of North Eastern Region, Govt. of India said that; Hyderabad is a festival city and the police have key responsibilities here. We hope to set up tourist police stations in tourist destinations in all the states. More and more tourists will come if the country has security for travelers coming from abroad. Cybercrime has become a big challenge. These can be controlled only when there is awareness among the people.
