This video is from my whole month in Panama in September 2012. I landed on the first day of the month and spend 3 days birding in/around Canopy Tower until my clients landed on the 4th; then we started the Sunrise Birding 2012 Panama trip based on the Canopy Tower near Panama city area and in the Canopy Lodge at El Valle de Anton W of Panama city. We finish on the 14th and then Laura joined me for a couple of weeks more; we traveled then to El Valle, Boquete in the Chiriqui highlands near Costa Rica, Bocas del Toro lowlands, and finished in Canopy Tower again before returning to Colombia the last day of the month.
We recorded more than 350 species of birds in 10 days while the Sunrise Birding trip thanks to ALL the Canopy Family staff help.. Especially co-leading this tour with Carlos Bethancourt was exceptionally neat as his knowledge and fun in the field are unsurpassed!

In the Western Highlands and the additional 2 weeks with Laura, we added some 100 species more to the overall list, including a LOAD of Panama - Costa Rica Highlands EBA (= Talamanca Mts.)
