Author and journalist Wilbur Smith describes writing as “a solitary business” to create characters in his historical fiction works. Mr Smith spoke with Sir David Tang for this interview ahead of their participation in the 22 July 2016 Open Public Forum with fellow writers Simon Winchester and Hannah Rothschild. The Forum is part of the HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair - 20-26 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
