The year was 1967, and owner and founder of Motion Performance, Joel Rosen, was looking to get exposure for his company as well as Baldwin Chevrolet and CARS magazine. Rosen entered the AHRA Nationals, but one week before the race the engine blew. Baldwin Chevrolet’s, John Mahler, stepped in to supply a new 427/425 crate motor. This launched Baldwin-Motions SS 427 Camaro program. This diecast replica features opening doors, hood, and trunk, detailed 427 engine, detailed interior, and poseable steering. Also includes racing style wheels, real rubber tires, authentic raceday livery, and spare tire in the trunk. Produced in 1:18 scale.
