In this video, Bolu discusses how he completed a Masters Degree in Malaysia Without Scholarship.
Education in Malaysia is quite interesting and of high quality, at least most of the institutions. A lot of International students come to Malaysia to pursue their post
graduate studies, such as Master and PhD programs, as there
are more affordable standard universities in Malaysia compare
to other competitors in developed or other developing nations.
Affordability, however depends on where one is coming from to
Malaysia! More details are discussed in this video.
It is definitely worthwhile to undergo studies in Malaysia,
especially a postgraduate degree, if one has financial
assistance or some form of scholarship/sponsorship's. However,
Bolu wasn't opportune to get any scholarship for his Masters
degree program here in Malaysia. Nevertheless, he was able to
complete his Masters degree with flying colors.
Regardless of the struggles, coupled with financial challenges
to settle bills in a foreign country such as Malaysia, Bolu
found ways to assist himself finish his studies without having
to live on loans or debts. Find out more in the video!
Malaysia though not so common in offering scholarships, yet
still has scholarships for mainly locals, and a few awarded to
International students, though very rare. However, this
depends on the specific institution one is studying. Some
universities in Malaysia has special packages for their
postgraduate students, regardless if you are foreign or local,
but on the other hand, public universities might have more
preference for the local students in Malaysia with regards to
scholarships, and this is normal as Malaysia itself is
considered a developing nation.
Overall, it is still possible to study conveniently in
Malaysia without scholarships, as the fees may not be too high
compare to other countries such as UK, US, Australia, among
others. Nevertheless, currencies differ and though some may
not feel the fees, yet others from low currency nations would
complain it's expensive. There is a strike of balancing in
