An attorney for the convicted D.C. sniper is seeking a chance for Lee Malvo to get parole. Malvo was 17 when he and John Allen Muhammad, 48, went on a months-long random killing spree in 2002 at gas stations, shopping malls and schools in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. In all 10 people were killed and three people were injured. Malvo's attorney, Kiran Iyer, is requesting the Maryland Court of Appeals allow his now 36-year-old client be re-sentenced. In court Tuesday, Iyer cited Malvo's age at the time of the crimes and his growth since.
