In leaked audio from a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and hostage families, the PM is heard criticising Qatar’s mediation efforts between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas.
In response, Doha denounced the Israeli PM, saying his remarks were “destructive to the efforts to save innocent lives, but are not surprising.”
