This 1983 Pennzoil ad has a very Tron-esque vibe to it. Rick Mears can (apparently) drive from the track to inside your computer. So who wouldn't want a motor oil that could do that?

Mears was coming off back-to-back wins in the CART Indy Car series when this was made. The following year, he would win the Indy 500.
