Edna told her husband she was leaving for work and hid in the closet. There, she overheard John inviting a woman over: “My wife’s gone now. It’s safe to come over”. A bit later, John was sitting on a couch with Edna’s best friend, Julia. They were cheerfully chatting, and Edna was prepared to confront the cheaters. But then, she heard why they got together – they were planning a surprise birthday party.
