In this video I take four towing scenarios, work out the weight limits and explain how it's all done. You can then use the same principles to work out your own trailer weights so you're legal, safe and efficient.
The weights used are examples, rounded up to the nearest 100kg so as to make the maths easy, but they are very much representative of real-world scenarios.
A 10% towball mass is used because that's the general maximum. In some situations TBM may be lower, but again the idea is to understand the concept.
