Cabbies, private-hire car drivers and passengers are encouraged to continue wearing masks, even though it will no longer be mandatory from Aug 29. The Land Transport Authority said this is especially so if passengers are unwell. Grab has also urged drivers to increase ventilation and regularly disinfect their vehicles.
