I'll show you how to design a laser cut box by modeling 3 unique laser cut/CNC router cut boxes and making DXFs, ready to send to your laser cutter (or router), completely for free! We'll use the free CAD program Onshape to model everything in 3D and generate the manufacturing data.

Make sure to add the "Laser joint" and "Auto layout" FeatureScripts linked in the Tutorial Resources section before starting.

CNC router users: make sure "overcut" is checked in the laser joint feature with the correct endmill diameter set! This will make it physically possible to cut. Laser cutter users do not need to do this.
