Russian T-90M tanks crews undergo combat-training in rear of captured territory
The crews of the T-90M Proryv tanks of the Central Military District are learning to fire from closed firing positions at a training ground in the rear area of ??the Northern Military District zone.
Having made a high-speed march to the firing position, the tank crew becomes attached to the terrain in a matter of minutes and points the gun at the target for firing along a hinged trajectory at a distance of up to 10 kilometers. The sighting equipment of the Proryv tank allows you to quickly calculate the coordinates of targets, aim and hit them.
Tankers practice shooting at targets using the tank's standard weapons from both closed positions and open direct fire; fire adjustments are carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles.
The emphasis in combat training of crews is on increasing the coherence and interchangeability of crew members, as well as high-speed driving and maneuvering after performing fire missions.
The main Russian battle tank T-90M “Proryv” is a deep modernization of the Soviet T-90 tank. Compared to the T-90, the vehicle has increased crew survivability thanks to a new design turret module with multi-layer armor, with ammunition stowage located outside the fighting compartment, as well as an increased range of weapons used in comparison with previous models of this type.
