Highlights from 0600 to 1500 taken at Manchester Airport during the full brunt of Storm Darragh. With 7 Go Arounds, numerous spectacular gusty and rocky landings and a number of diversions. The prevailing North Westerly Wind allowed for a 90 degree Crosswind component with some gusts at times exceeding 40 knots. Note the Etihad 777 A6-ETG that makes 3 appearances in this video, the first two approaches were made before sunrise and the aircraft diverted to FRA. Around 7 hours later they were back for another go. Also worth noting, around midday the ILS for 23R became unserviceable so all crews had to fly the offset VOR/DME approach, making for even more interesting action!

As always in these types of Storms it's important to remember everyone behind the scenes keeping everything moving, from the flight crews to the ramp agents, dispatchers and passenger services.
