So how many snakes do you are in this big pile of rocks?
I had rented this CAT 305 mini for a water and sewer project and thought it was a good time to get rid of these rocks while I still had the machine.
This pile has been here since before I bought the property and it’s a pain to mow around.
One of my friends is planning on buying a rock crusher, so he parked his truck here and said, “if you load them up, I’ll haul them away.”
I tried to be careful setting these in here, so I wouldn’t dent up the bottom of his bed.
It always blows my mind how much power these mini excavators have.
These are some pretty good size rocks, and it was lifting them with no problem.
And believe it or not we didn’t see a single snake. Which is a good thing, because while I was safe inside the cab- my wife was outside filming, and she would not have been happy with me if she saw one.
We had 4 boulders left over that were too big to lift, plus the truck was already full- so we decided to use them to landscape this island.
I was able to sandwich them between the bucket and the blade to carry them around and it actually worked pretty well.
Not only do these rocks look cool sitting here- they’ll keep people from parking on the grass.
Some people pay big money for decorative rocks like this to be delivered to their property.
What do you guys think, would you have kept the 4 boulders or hauled them off?@hausplans
