Moonless the lone cave wolf from Fear and Hunger is a fan favorite character who is a recruitable party member in game. To do so, you will need to feed her 2 Rotten Meats while in battle. In addition to being the goodest girl, Moonless is a powerful ally and can attack twice per turn, inflict bleed, and can increase her bite strength by leveling up.

However, she doesn't level up with experience as in a typical RPG, but instead she grows stronger by marking her territory throughout the dungeons. It is revealed that Moonless was the strongest wolf in her pack before being forced out, and she was morphed by the evil of the dungeons to grow even stronger.
