Without question, Frida Kahlo sports the most famous unibrow in art history. She often wore the colorful Tehuana indigenous dress, which also served to cover up her polio-inflicted leg. Frida wasn't self-conscious, however. Her many self-portraits are brutally honest, reflecting physical pain, tumultuous relationships, and a lifelong contemplation of self-identity. She was indeed ahead of her time.
