Lancaster Green Ayre station and the line between Wennington and Morecambe via Green Ayre closed in 1966, as part of the Beeching cuts.
"Railway Memories" features interviews with a number of men who worked on the line - sharing their stories of what it was like to work on the railways during the period from the 1940s-1960s.
Rev. Bob Jackson is also interviewed - he had a unique friendship with a number of people who worked on the railway and filmed the line between Morecambe and Lancaster on its last day of operation on 1st January 1966.
