Singapore's hard-hit tourism sector is set to benefit from a $20-million marketing programme. The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) programme encourages hotels to continue engaging customers and build demand. Those that do so will receive up to 70% funding support for their marketing costs. The programme will be expanded in May to include attractions, inbound travel agents, and the MICE sector. STB has also partnered Facebook, Google and LinkedIn to develop web-based training to help businesses in the sector with their strategies.
