He was the first Luftwaffe pilot to break the records, becoming the highest-scoring ace of the Spanish Civil War. Afterwards, he becomes the first Luftwaffe pilot with 50 aerial victories, ultimately becoming the highest-scoring fighter pilot in history by breaking the record set by the famous Red Baron, Manfred Von Richthofen, in World War I and the first fighter pilot to score 100 areal victories. Although overshadowed by the more successful and famous Luftwaffe pilots, he earned his place in history by becoming their role model. His name was Werner Mölders.
