Marking the beginning of a new era of quantum innovation
On September 29th, we hosted the official inauguration of Deep Tech Lab - Quantum in the heart of Copenhagen. More than 150 guests from the quantum and life science ecosystem filled the newly finished office space to mark the beginning of a new era in quantum innovation. Among the notable guests were the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, the Danish Minister of Defence, Troels Lund Poulsen, the Danish Minister for Industry and Financial Affairs, Morten Bødskov, the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, and the CEO of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen.
Denmark's new quantum accelerator, Deep Tech Lab - Quantum, is built on the same principles as BioInnovation Institute's Venture programs, leveraging its success of commercializing early-stage life science innovation.

The first start-ups will join Deep Tech Lab - Quantum this winter, and the accelerator is expected to house up to 20 quantum start-ups in 2025 when operations are fully up and running, as part of Denmark's contribution to NATO's DIANA initiative.
