This is the Linguatronic System in my 2001 E55 AMG. It can be used to operate the radio, CD player, and cassette tape. Also the phone and navigation if you have it.

Mercedes was always 20 years ahead of its time. Their motto was "The Best or Nothing". But that 3 pointed star that once represented automotive supremacy, has been fading for years. Mercedes-Benz has lost their way and is now just another car company. Saddest of all, they have watered down the once prestigious AMG brand.
