Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has condemned the resolution by NRM Legislators to have Article 102(b) of the constitution amended to remove the 75-year cap for anyone to vie for presidential elections. Lukwago urged President Yoweri Museveni to respect the Constitution that is his brainchild and not seek re-election in 2021 since he would be above 75. The Lord Mayor cautioned that if the matter was not handled carefully, it could roll Uganda back to the days of political turmoil.
