Potato gratin version one
4-6 serves
You need
6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced 1mm thick
2 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
2-3 branch of thyme
400ml thickened cream
25g soft butter
Salt and pepper
1 cup of grated cheese like gruyere comte or cheddar

You need
6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced 1mm thick
2 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
2-3 branch of thyme
25g soft butter to grease the pot
Salt and pepper
1 cup of grated cheese like gruyere comte or cheddar
400-500 gm bacon rashers cut thinly
Parsley to sprinkle
Potato gratin version three
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic
2 onions thinly sliced
salt pepper
5-6 tomatoes or 2 punnets cherry tomatoes ideally less acidic like plum tomatoes
1-1.5 cups of vegetable stock
1.3 kilo potatoes
Chopped thyme salt and pepper
Potato gratin version four
1.3 kilo potatoes
trim potatoes and slice the rest and mix with onions
grease mould and garlic it and add potatoes
cover potatoes with stock
3 pounds or 1.3 kilo potatoes
Warm water
1 litre milk
2 tablespoon butter
300 gm mushrooms
Truffles sliced to your liking
300 -400 gm camembert or brie
1 tablespoon chopped thyme
2-3 chopped garlic cloves
salt pepper
1 cup double cream
1cup of grated cheese like gruyere comte Chantal or cheddar
