Is RTF (Spreading Tall Fescue) worth spending money on and overseeding into your lawn? That's the question I've been asked many times and it's something I want to feel confident about when I discuss the grass type with my viewers.

Rhizomatic tall fescue is a new genre of fescue grass seed that looks and acts like all other turf type tall fescue varieties...the difference though is that it is supposed to spread and fix bare spots or blemishes in the lawn all by itself just like Kentucky Bluegrass does.
