Ugh. Don't watch this video. It sucks.
The one thing this day taught me was that I really don't like most of Raccoon Mountain. Live Wire and the first half of High Voltage are great, but the second half of HV just tries to kill me. There's not enough actual flow or fun stuff on the other trails though, and Megawatt is just a boring slog through some flat trails with a few rocks tossed in.
Maybe that's why I never come across other riders, why there are always spiderwebs, why the weeds grow out over the trail, and why the parking lots are always empty.
There's just not a ton of variety. I don't plan to go back there. If you're a fan of this place, please enlighten me; what am I missing? Also, if you are from that area or familiar with the riding options, please point me to the crispy trails that I should ride instead.
