Dr. Miguel Angel Medina, Director of Microsurgery with Miami Cancer Institute, explains migraines are triggered by nerves that are in the face, and in the skull.
"These are all nerves that are part of your sensation cranial nerves from the brain. We want to find patients that are having entrapment symptoms of cranial facial nerves and we can go and free those nerves up to relieve the pain and the pressure."
