How do we develop from a bunch of cells to embryos? Jesse Veenvliet is a Developmental Biologist and looks at stem cells to find out more about the most early stages of life. In his talk he explains how stem cells form the first structures that lead to the formation of an embryo and why Developmental Biologists are not some sort of evil Dr. Frankensteins.
