I bought a lot of hexagonal drill bits. I haven't counted it, but I think it's more than hundreds.
If you use it to a certain extent, the cross-shaped ends get crushed, and it becomes harder and harder to put the piece in.
I used to throw it away when it was spinning or slipping.
The field uses a new one right away, even if it's a little crushed, for the speed of the work.
Since the material for making hexagonal drill bits is high-strength steel in its own way, I looked for new ways to use them. I think it'd be good to transform it into a center punch.
Even with low-cost products, the sharpness at the end doesn't last long, no matter how good the center punch is.
The drill bit that was not available was sharpened with a grinder, hardened to make it strong, and it became a great center punch.
As you can see in the video, when punching on a washer or bolt, it is strongly punched without any difficulty. Of course, the drill blade doesn't slip.
It's a world where recycling is a hot topic.
I'll introduce you to a simple way to make a center punch using a discarded drill bit.
I hope you look at the video, I hope you can use it.
Thank you.
