About this video - Kolkata Naval Aircraft Museum is located at DJ Block, Narkel Bagan, Action Area I of New Town, Kolkata , next to the New Town police station, opposite the Tata Medical Centre.
The museum’s biggest exhibit, the Tupolev Tu-142M was donated by the Indian Navy. A decommissioned Tupolev Tu-142M maritime aircraft parked on a runway-like structure built solely for showcasing the aircraft at the New Town museum. The aircraft was brought from INS Rajali, Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu. Other exhibits for its interior and surroundings like a mannequin pilot, bombs, machinery etc. will be developed by the Navy.
