Medak church is the largest church in Telangana. It is 96 kms from Hyderabad By road and travelling time is around 2hrs.

The main tower of the church is 175 feet high and the church can accommodate 5000 people at a time. The whole structure rests on massive gray stone pillars.

The roof of the church is sound proof made by hollow sponge material

The biggest attraction of the Cathedral are its stained glass windows
There are 3 magnificent stained glass windows depicting the life of Jesus Christ. 
There are two large stained glass windows on either side of the altar and the third in the center on top of the altar. These stained glass windows were not fixed at the time when the church was built but  were added later.

Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM

You can visit the church, Pocharam Dam , wildlife sanctuary and Edupayala Durga Bhavani temple in one day trip.
It is very crowded on Christmas, if you want to experience the peaceful environment, go on a normal day.
