Trigger points often play a part in elbow pain. These trigger points typically form and become active in the wrist extensor muscles, whilst referring pain to either the elbow (typically lateral elbow), hand or wrist.
When these trigger points are not released, the symptoms may become chronic although will often dissipate quickly with correct treatment.
