The Niagara Region is filled with a great deal of history that connects Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Over the course of one hundred years, four different canals were built, with the fourth being the one most currently used.
The third is filled with a lot of rich history and many portions of it still exist to this day, but others have been lost to time and city expansion.
