Information of BOPHILL WATERFALL near Mawlynnong & Dawki in Meghalaya: - Dawki is a town in Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya, India. It is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh. It is used mainly for coal transportation to Bangladesh. Some 5 kms away from Dawki towards Mawlynnong, a wide waterfalls is located on the road named as Bop Hill Falls. It streams down to form a river in the Sylhet Borders of Bangladesh. A pleasure for eyes, as hardly we come to see a place where a waterfalls is forming into a river of a neighbourhood country plains. The water is milky white and gushing down to form water droplets. Unexplored, serene and deep in the nature. A short stay here for 10-15 mins is recommended just to devour the beauty of the place. People visiting Mawlynnong can also explore a bit towards this side. Around 15 kms down from Mawlynnong towards Dawki. Don't forget to bring your cameras and umbrellas of course if it's monsoon. Advisable to come during monsoons/summer to get the best views.
