To end the season, I took the Miata for a rip at Grand Bend Motorplex with Falcon Autosport hosting their final open lapping day. Weather was great for a mid October day. Here are my best laps from the 6 sessions I completed. My best time was a 1:19.231 and I'm pretty stoked that I managed to get into the 1:10s. On top of that, by the end of the day, I was able to move up from the beginner group to the advanced group in just my second track day. Unfortunately, I only got 3 laps in with the intermediate group due to low fuel, but I enjoyed the flow with this run group and was glad the Miata was able to keep up.
Can't wait to do more track days in the future.
