Listen to John V. Sinclair, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, introduce Tippett's "A Child of Our Time." Dr. Sinclair talks about the history of the piece, Tippett's belief in social justice, the structure of the piece and the use of African American spirituals.
Three concerts will be presented November 9 and 10, 2013 on the campus of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
