“My Favorite Things” from the Musical “The Sound of Music”, beautifully (and challengingly) arranged for piano by Sir Stephen Hough.

This piece brings back memories of my time in Salzburg, Austria, where the film was shot at. As a child, I watched the movie many times, not knowing that I would spend a decade living in the picturesque Austrian town.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the movie, you might still have heard a version of this song by pop superstar Ariana Grande, whose song “7 Rings” uses the same melody
