There is a massive issue with the GoPro Hero 9 and external microphone compatibility. For the last generations of GoPro, external microphones have worked well. With the Gopro Hero 9, the latest firmware has caused the adaptor to redundant. It appears you have to purchase the media mod. Or do you? So if youre getting the Gopro hero 9 for vlogging, then you may want to consider the DJI Osmo vs GoPro hero 9.
