Abstract
The ongoing global pandemic has accelerated the acceptance and advancement of Digital Healthcare bringing into focus the use of meaningful AI and efficient utilization of “Big Data” in Medicine. Diverse streams of Computerized Clinical Decision Support (CDSS) have been evolving over the past 3 decades ranging over Diagnostic, Imaging, EHR, Finance & other Hospital System-based use cases. Personalized Health Records and data from wearables form another formidable front for the expansion of CDSS at an individual level.


Even as the long development period culminates earlier than anticipated and real-world AI is used as part of day-to-day clinical practice, we anticipate a keener focus on digital data and its efficient application in medicine using Artificial Intelligence. We look to a future where CDSS is no longer an attractive fancy technology but an organic evolution of the perpetual enterprise of medical science to offer excellent care for patients & humankind.
