The Best Places to Visit in Switzerland? ... include then Caumasee /Lake Cauma - The Pearl of Flims BUT ONLY IN THE MORNING AND DURING WEEK ! It can get really crowded and noisy so you wont be able to enjoy this beautiful place.
Lake Cauma is in the uninhabited southern part of the municipality of Flims in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It varies with the seasonally fluctuating level at an altitude of around 997 m and is accessed with a specially built funicular.

Caumasee is a stunning lake in the middle of the dense Flims forest. From the car parks and bus stop, follow signs to Caumasee, following a well traveled path into the forest. It is about a 10 minute walk to the top of a short funicular that takes you down to the lake. In case you do not want to use the funicular (only for 6 people), there is also a path leading down to the lake. Especially on holidays you may need to wait for the elevator and entrance. Entrance to the lake costs. In this amazing place, you can swim, sunbathe or enjoy the scenery all day long. You can rent paddle boats, rowboats and paddleboards if you wish. You can make a picnic without fire. There is a restaurant on a site. If you plan your trip to Switzerland HSN can highly recommend you visiting this gorgeous lake.
