I'm so, so excited to share this one with you! I wanted to write something bittersweet and nostalgic and about reminiscing and being lost in those feelings of remembering. So honored to feature one of my favorite artists that I discovered in 2020 - I remember being captivated by his emotiveness and lyricism. If you haven't heard Nieman's music yet, I highly recommend it!
Also, THANK YOU for helping me reach 10k subscribers! So crazy! I'll be doing a little youtube live soon to celebrate, answer questions you have for me, and sing a few songs. Stay tuned :)

Lyrics:
You remember that time
We were in Tokyo
And how it felt so nice to be far away from home
And the way we let
Our feet wander to and fro
We had no map and no plans and no places to go
We were lost in the city
With your arms wrapped around me
Like a scene from a movie
Now I'm lost in the memory
Of the way you looked at me
And the sky, it still holds the same old
Feeling
I'm lost in that feeling
You remember that time
When we were in New York
And how you glanced at me and said
What a sight to behold
And the way we let
Our minds wander to and fro
And all the words that we both left unsaid
Guess we'll never know
We were lost in the city
With your arms wrapped around me
Like a scene from a movie
Now I'm lost in the memory
Of the way you looked at me
And the sky was so starry
We were lost in the city
When the rain started pouring
Like a scene from a movie
Now I'm lost in the memory
Of the way you fell for me
And the sky, it still holds the same old
Feeling
I'm lost in that feeling
You remember that night (I remember that night)
You walked me home (I walked you home)
I knew that (I never thought) it would be the last time
As I watched you go
