Diwali is incomplete without sweets. Here is a simple and easy burfi recipe that is rose burfi. It can be made from very few ingredients and tastes just awesome. Do try this recipe this Diwali and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and comment.
Ingredients:
• 3 cups desiccated Coconut
• 1 cup Milk powder
• 1 tsp Ghee (Optional)
• 1/2 – 1 cup Rose syrup
Method:
• In a bowl take desiccated coconut and add milk powder.
• Mix everything well together.
• Add ghee and mix well. You can skip ghee if you don’t want.
• Add rose syrup and mix well.
• Add enough rose syrup to make soft dough.
• The quantity of rose syrup may vary.
• As rose syrup is enough sweet you don’t have to add any
additional sugar.
• You can use syrup of your choice like chocolate syrup, khas or
strawberry syrup too.
• When everything is well combined transfer the mixture into a tray
and spread it evenly.
• Rest it for at least 30 minutes before you serve.
• Cut the burfi into pieces with a knife.
• Take the pieces of burfi out and rose burfi is already.
• It stays good at room temperature for about 3-4 days and about a
week in freeze.
