Plaintiff Posecai brought suit against Defendant Walmart after she was robbed at gunpoint in the store's parking lot. At the time of the robbery, a security guard was stationed inside Defendant's store to protect the cash office. He could not see outside and testified that he did not consider the parking lot a high crime area. Plaintiff witnesses testified that it was a high crime area. Plaintiff contends Defendant was negligent in failing to provide adequate security in the parking lot considering the high level of crime in the surrounding area.Procedural History: Trial court found in favor of Plaintiff.
