The fight against infectious disease has been a long one, with many changes in theory, application and technology. In celebration of Seattle BioMed's 35th anniversary, we trace the journey our Institute has traveled over the past 35 years and chronicle the many ways in which our work is advancing global health. As we look to the future, we see new possibilities that the embrace of systems biology is brining to our global infectious disease research.
