Had my first solo flight today, both a first solo and first solo as a sport pilot. In my situation, I got my sport license in powered parachutes first. In order to add airplanes, (ASEL), I had to get a stage check from one CFI, and then have another CFI give me a checkride in the form of a proficiency check, and then sign on the additional category and class in my log book. There was no solo requirement for the add-on, so I decided that before I take any passengers up that I would solo first. This was it! After this flight, I took my dad up for a couple laps, too. Enjoy the video!
(Sorry for the vibrations on the GoPro angle, the higher RPMs really made the thing bounce around)
