Global coordination in managing public health care is "absolutely essential" for containing the COVID-19 pandemic, says Professor Teo Yik Ying, Dean of the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. He says current outbreak epicenters run a "real risk" of shifting from the U.S. and parts of Europe to other world regions and even back to East Asia over time.
