It may be another 3 weeks of lockdown but I have you covered with this working class version of the Black Velvet which should be Guinness layered on top of champagne but instead we are using cider hence the Poor Man's Black Velvet.


Ingredients:
- Can of Guinness
- Can of apple cider of your choice


How to make:
- Get a pint glass and pour in the cider until the half way mark or a bit more.
- Using the back of a bar spoon pour the Guinness over it and it will layer on top. Pour slowly by the way.
- Enjoy this Irish beer cocktail even though it should be a stout cocktail really.
