Campbell served as a legislative aide and executive secretary to Sen. Russell before returning to Atlanta to begin a successful legal career. Campbell discusses Russell's stance on Civil Rights legislation, his relationships with Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson, his relationship with Ms. Pat Collins, and his legacy as a senator.
