David writes, "Hi Jeff, I love your videos! I have a new to me 2007 pilothouse with a 10.5 kW generator, a Victron 5000 watt inverter/charger, and a recently installed water maker. My first time at anchor, I turned on the watermaker and after a few minutes, the generator stopped and was in “shutdown mode”. I understand that I should have stepped down or turned off the charger when I am making water – can you explain what has happened? Should the boat have a bigger generator?"
